After all of your research and preparation, it’s finally here: application time.
The Common Application, Universal College Application, and Coalition Application will be open for submissions next week. We want to share a valuable resource for one of the most important pieces of the college application: Your essays. (Visit our website for a sneak peek at our supplemental essay question!)
Our “Essays That Worked” page contains impressive application essays from members of the incoming Class of 2020. You can read the essays, along with comments from the admissions committee noting why these particular essays were successful. While your college essays will be unique and authentically you, we hope that “Essays that Worked” will inspire your writing and help you better understand what our committee looks for in an effective college essay.
